At the same time, their environment and the way their mane and tail behaves, coupled with the glow creates a sort of storm effect. Vinyl's horn glowing also suggest that the couple in focus is the one responsible for creating such disturbances(perhaps one metaphorical of others' nonacceptance of their relationship), while they are completely calm and find solace in each other.
Or maybe they are falling, as they are sharing one last tender moment together before their doom. One last kiss as the light sucks them into their demise, ever so peaceful. I always have been a fan of this whole "let's share a moment together before we all die" stuff, and here it's really powerful if I think about it that way.
There's so many things I can see in this picture, even though it's probably a very simple concept. However, I can't for the life of me see the eye that

Oh man, perhaps that was some pretty hefty Swenglish right there^^' Sorry about that, but yes trollbinding, or trollbindande, if we're to go swedish all the way, means just that. Captivating, mesmerizing.
